Hess Helicopter and Rescue is one of three Hess releases to feature a non-road vehicle as the primary toy. Its motorized main and tail rotors - activated via either a button on the front side or a switch option on the undercarriage - blur like the real thing. There are high-powered pivoting searchlights, retractable landing gear, and sounds: ignition, takeoff, and flyby. The Rescue vehicle, an SUV has a taut friction motor and retractable emergency roof lights.
